Unique historic BBQ restaurant. The best BBQ and calf fries in North Texas. Their brisket and Mac and cheese is unbelievably good. They also offer a full bar. With excellent cocktails and some wonderful dessert options. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better service. The restaurant is much larger inside than it appears from the outside. They also offer an outside dining area. Our first visited Clarks in 1996 at the original structure. Unfortunately, the original building was lost to a fire in the early 2000s. The new structure was built from the bricks of the original restaurant. The building has changed, but ket the original charm, great food and drinks and service. We will be back soon.

We decided to go for a day trip to a few small towns near Celina and stopped for lunch at Clark’s Outpost. It was a very pleasant experience. The food was delicious and desert was amazing - apple crumble pie with cinnamon ice cream. OMG! The service was also very friendly and it felt just like home. Well come back for sure!

An absolutely fantastic place to eat. We got the Chicken Fried Steak, a cheeseburger, and some brisket tater tots. The Chicken fried steak was super flavorful, and was clearly made in house along with the gravy, fries, and mashed potatoes. The burger was incredibly juicy and flavorful, but be sure to have napkins on the ready. Finally, the brisket tater tots were delicious and seasoned to perfection. Overall this was a fantastic place to stop for a bite to eat, and we will be returning. Warning: you will need a to go box.

Hands down best BBQ we've had in a long time. Had the brisket mac & cheese which had pimento in it!!! Calf fries, hubby had 2 meat plate with brisket and jalapeno sausage, coleslaw and fried okra and squash. Desert was coconut pie and peach cobbler, also had a Texas sunrise cocktail which was perfection

The service provided from Kelly, was amazing by far the best waitress at Clark’s. The food was absolutely immaculate, nothing like it in a 50 mile radius, will always be a fan. Thanks once again Kelly for the great service.

What a wonderful Sunday lunch! This was only the 2nd time (out of many more to come) that I've been there, but wow! Both times the staff was super. The first time we mostly had the burgers, which we all loved, the beef tasted fresh and the BUNS were amazing. This time we went with the BBQ and even though the sliced brisket was a little dry the taste was great. The turkey was over the top, the best turkey we've ever had from a BBQ place. I wish I had pick up a couple of pounds of it, I only bought the half pound which is plenty for 1 person, but everyone had to try it soooo. Overall it has been a great experience and quality food for the price. I've seen a couple of low reviews but you should definitely try it again and for those who haven't been there you should definitely give it a try. Thank you guys for the amazing lunch, and keep up the great work.

Finally stopped in after saying we need to try it for years. We’ll definitely be coming back. The staff is super friendly! The plates are huge! We got stuffed and had leftovers. We ordered the fried cheese balls and devoured them. Ordered the kids chicken strip plate, calf fries meal, rib and one meat plate, and the kids corn dog basket. Husband said those were the best fried calf fries he’s ever had. The brisket was sooo good. French fries were hit with all of us! Ribs and sides were yummy too.
